Henri Delnooz werd op 13 augustus 1942 in Maastricht geboren.
Opleiding
Hij studeerde piano en theorie bij Jan Mul, Matty Niël en Willem Hijstek aan het Maastrichts Conservatorium. Hij studeerde compositie bij Willem Kersters in België en bij Ferenc Farkas in Budapest aan de Liszt-academie.
Werkzaamheden
Als docent compositie en muziektheorie is hij verbonden aan het Maastrichts Conservatorium. Tevens is hij promotor van hedendaagse muziek in Limburg.
